A Very Hungry Caterpillar Invades Asia

Late final year, farmers in Kanchanaburi in western Thailand came opposite a class of larva they hadn’t seen before. Tucked low in ears of corn, it seemed to be some-more starved than a pests they customarily encounter. In some instances, a creatures ate any other.

It was, entomologists confirmed, a really inspired caterpillar: a tumble armyworm.
