Brother of Russian Opposition Leader Navalny to Have Closed Parole Hearing

Oleg Navalny – a hermit of anti-corruption crusader Alexei Navalny – is to face a release conference behind sealed doors on Jun 27.

The event will take place in a penal cluster where Oleg is now portion his three-and-a-half-year sentence, with usually his counsel and Oleg himself authorised to attend, Alexei wrote on his blog Wednesday.

“Not even Oleg’s mother can attend. [It is going to be a] closed, tip [hearing],” Navalny wrote.

Oleg Navalny and his hermit were found guilty of rascal and laundering supports from French cosmetics organisation Yves Rocher on Dec. 30, 2014. Alexei Navalny a perceived three-year dangling sentence.

Oleg’s counsel Kirill Polozov pronounced that it was doubtful that release would be postulated due to his client’s delinquent penalties and an adverse news from a jail cluster administration.
