Some 500 invited guest were entertainment for a private wake of famed British scientist Stephen Hawking.
Crowds of them came to a University Church of St. Mary a Great in a English city of Cambridge on Saturday for a use honoring Hawking, who died on Mar 14 during age 76.
Actor Eddie Redmayne, who portrayed Hawking in a 2014 biographical play “The Theory of Everything,” designed to give a reading from Ecclesiastes during a service. There will also be a reading by Astronomer Royal Martin Reese and eulogies by one of Hawking’s children and a former student.
The bell during a church, famous locally as Great St. Mary’s, will fee 76 times.
Hawking, who suffered from engine neurone disease, was famous for his groundbreaking investigate into black holes and other phenomena.
