Russia has mislaid hit with one of 3 satellites launched from a new Vostochny Cosmodrome final week, state-run news group TASS reported Wednesday.
“We have been incompetent to settle a tie with a booster given a launch. The tie many expected did not switch on after rising into orbit,” a space-industry source told TASS.
Experts will confirm after currently either to continue attempts to settle a tie or to commend a satellite as lost, TASS reported.
The SamSat-218 satellite was launched with a Soyuz-2.1a rocket on Apr 28. It was a initial launch to take place during Russia’s new Vostochny Cosmodrome, where technical problems deferred a launch for 24 hours.
