France urges Trump not to meddle in the politics: ‘Leave the republic be’ | TheHill

“We do not take domestic American politics into comment and we wish that to be reciprocated,”  Le Drian told LCI television, according to Agence France Presse. “I contend this to Donald Trump and a French boss says it too: leave a republic be.”

On Saturday, Trump pronounced a Paris Climate Agreement wasn’t “working out so good for Paris” and used a protests taking place in a republic to clear his argument.
