French bank Societe Generale began shutting a accounts of Russian diplomats in Paris though reason on Friday, a state-run RIA Novosti news group reported.
Employees of a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have also been affected, RIA Novosti reported, citing an unnamed source within tactful circles.
“At this time, while deputies of a National Assembly and a French Senate are voting on lifting a sanctions opposite Russia, a French bank Societe Generale, clearly out of fear from a U.S. side, is shutting a accounts not usually of Russian citizens, though Russian diplomats as well,” a unnamed source said, RIA Novosti reported.
The French Foreign Ministry has betrothed to yield information on a shutting of a accounts. Societe Generale has not nonetheless responded to RIA Novosti with comments per a closures.
