The arch financial officer of Chinese telecoms hulk Huawei has been postulated bail by a Canadian court.

Meng Wanzhou was arrested on 1 Dec and could be extradited to a US to face rascal charges related to a purported defilement of sanctions on Iran.

Earlier on Tuesday it emerged that a Canadian former diplomat had been incarcerated in China.
