King football travels to Providence for NEPSAC final


The King School football group will take a 8-1 record to Moses Brown School in Providence, R.I. on Saturday during 1 p.m. when a Vikings conflict Tilton (N.H.) Academy (8-0) for a 2016 New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) Class C pretension and Sean Brennan Bowl Trophy.

The neutral site is approximately 21/2 hours divided from any school.

The No. 8 seed King School margin hockey group (13-3) will transport to No. 1 seed Ethel Walker of Simsbury (15-3) Wednesday during 2:15 p.m. for a NEPSAC Class C quarterfinal-round contest.

The No. 1 seed King School girls volleyball group (17-0) will horde No. 8 seed Storm King Wednesday during 4:30 p.m. in a NEPSAC Class C quarterfinal-round clash.

The King-Storm King leader will play a leader between No. 4 seed St. Luke’s and No. 5 seed Miss Halls (Pittsfield, Mass.) (Wednesday, 4 p.m. quarterfinal during St. Luke’s) in a Class C semifinals. The semifinals will be Friday if No. 3 seed Gunn Academy wins a quarterfinal compare given it can’t play on a Sabbath on Saturday.

If Gunn loses, afterwards a King semifinal would take place Saturday. The Championship final is set for King School gym on Sunday during 1 p.m. regardless of who a finalists are.

St. Luke’s will horde Greens Farms Academy Wednesday during 2 p.m. in a NEPSAC Class C girls soccer quarterfinal.
