LSU ball travels to McNeese State for midweek game: In-game recap

LAKE CHARLES — LSU ball creates a revisit to McNeese State for a 6 p.m. Wednesday start during Joe Miller Ball Park.

Freshman right-hander Zack Hess will make his initial highway start for a Tigers (9-3) opposite a McNeese (8-4) lineup that has 3 batters attack .400 or better. Hess by 3 appearances and dual starts has a 2.53 ERA with 12 strikeouts and 4 walks over 10.2 innings.

Starting for McNeese with be sophomore right-hander Aidan Anderson, who binds a 13.50 ERA over 4 service appearances, with most of a repairs entrance in dual appearances during Arizona.

Back in a lineup is beginner designated hitter Rankin Woley. The Tigers used comparison Jordan Romero as a DH for a 3 weekend games during Minute Maid Park in Houston. 

The diversion is a homecoming for Lake Charles native and LSU left fielder Beau Jordan, who will strike ninth in a LSU lineup.
