Malaysia arrests Kosovo male for ‘hacking US files for IS’

A Kosovan male has been arrested in Malaysia for allegedly hacking into a mechanism database and providing information on US confidence officials to a supposed Islamic State group.

The man, who is in his 20s, was incarcerated on 15 September, Malaysian troops pronounced in a matter on Thursday.

Separately, a US identified him as Ardit Ferizi, suspicion to conduct a hacker organisation called Kosova Hacker’s Security (KHS).

Mr Ferizi will be extradited to a US.

A matter from a US Department of Justice pronounced Mr Ferizi, famous by his moniker “Th3Dir3ctorY”, hacked into a US company’s systems in sequence to take a personal sum of 1,351 US troops and supervision staff.

He will be charged with mechanism hacking and temperament theft, and faces adult to 35 years in jail, a matter added.
