U.S. Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to comments done by effusive Sen. Claire McCaskill earlier this week in that she called the New York Democrat a “bright glossy new object.”
“Not certain because fmr Sen. McCaskill keeps going on TV to call me a ‘thing’ and ‘shiny object,’ though it’s flattering disappointing,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Saturday.
“McCaskill betrothed she’d ‘100% behind Trump up’ on his anti-immigrant tongue lost. In MO, roughly all on-going list issues won,” her twitter continued.
During an talk with CNN, MacCaskill, a Missouri Democrat, pronounced of Ocasio-Cortez that she was “confused because she’s a thing,” referring to a courtesy Ocasio-Cortez has perceived from both vital parties and a news media given defeating Democratic obligatory Rep.
