Portland sight stabbing: Witness recalls victim’s final words

PORTLAND, Ore. — A lady who attempted to assistance one of a Portland sight stabbing victims in his final moments is vocalization out about his final words.

Jeremy Joseph Christian, 35, is indicted of stabbing 3 group who intervened when he allegedly yelled secular slurs during dual immature women, one of whom was wearing a hijab, on a Portland light-rail sight Friday night.

Witness Rachel Macy told CBS associate KOIN she had been with Meche in his final moments on a train. Macy and Meche did not know any other before a stabbing.

“I only didn’t wish him to be alone,” Macy said. “I took my shirt off and put it on him. We hold it together, we only prayed, all we could do was pray.” 

“I told him, ‘You’re a pleasing man. I’m so contemptible a universe is so cruel,'” Macy said.

“He said, ‘Tell them, we wish everybody to know, we wish everybody on a sight to know, we adore them,'” she said. “He was a pleasing man, that’s what we wish people to know.”

Macy attended a burial Saturday since she wanted to share a difference with Meche’s family, who collected along with thousands of village members to remember their son as a male with a heart “as large as a world,” KOIN reported.
