President Vladimir Putin has submitted an extradition agreement between Russia and Panama to a State Duma for ratification, a Meduza news website reported on Tuesday, citing a Duma’s central website.
The agreement — sealed on Apr 25, 2015 in Panama — states that both countries are committed to extraditing adults for a functions of rapist prosecution.
“The agreement will work toward a alleviation of general law by team-work between a Russian Federation and a Republic of Panama by means of extraditing criminals to compensate for a crimes they have committed,” a Duma’s website stated.
