Russia will anathema imports of Turkish zucchini and pumpkins from May 19 after detecting a participation of a harassment in a series of a vegetables, Russia’s cultivation watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor announced, a Interfax news group reported Monday.
“We motionless to deliver proxy restrictions on a import of zucchini and pumpkins as objects [which had to be quarantined] were rescued in them,” Rosselkhoznadzor emissary conduct Yulia Shvabauskene was quoted as observant by Interfax.
However, a watchdog has canceled a designed sum anathema for all Turkish fruit and unfeeling imports.
“Most likely, we will not place an embargo on everything,” Shvabauskene told a TASS news agency, adding that usually certain products will be banned, as a Turkish side has started “active negotiations.”
Rosselkhoznadzor has been sensitive that Turkey has strengthened peculiarity control on fruit and unfeeling exports, Shvabauskene added.
Russia criminialized imports of Turkish eggplants, peppers and pomegranates over a past dual months. Lettuce recently assimilated a list of criminialized Turkish vegetables.
Russia criminialized a series of food imports from a EU in Aug 2014 in greeting to sanctions imposed on a nation for a purpose in a Ukraine crisis. Since 2015, all food illegally brought into a nation is destroyed, a Meduza news website reported.
