Russia-U.S. Trade Dropped 28 Percent in 2015

Russia’s trade turnover with a United States forsaken by 27.9 percent final year compared to 2014, a TASS news group has reported.

“Last year was not quite auspicious for trade between Russia and a U.S. Our altogether 2015 turnover was $21 billion, a decrease of 27.9 percent,” pronounced Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Likhachev.

The dump comes amid sanctions between Russia and a U.S. In 2014, Washington imposed mercantile restrictions on Moscow due the division in eastern Ukraine. The Kremlin responded with opposite measures that enclosed an embargo on American food imports.
