Russian serviceman Anton Yerygin has died in sanatorium after receiving critical injuries in a Syrian range of Homs, a TASS news group reported Wednesday.
He suffered critical wounds from shelling by militants, TASS reported, citing a orator from a Khmeimim atmosphere bottom in Latakia, Syria.
Yerygin had been escorting vehicles from a Khmeimim bottom for upkeep work when a shelling occurred, a orator said. After a attack, a serviceman was rushed to hospital, where Russian troops medics fought to save his life for dual days, TASS reported.
A commemorative rite for Yerygin is being hold in his local city of Voronezh in western Russia. The infantryman will be posthumously flashy with a Russian state award, TASS reported.
