When Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank frankly praised President Trump’s pro-business agenda, job him an “asset to a country,” he expected had no thought how quickly that matter would be rebuked.

Plank listened it from several of Under Armour’s athletes, many particularly from two-time fortifying NBA MVP Steph Curry.

In an apparent response, Plank took out a full-page ad in The Baltimore Sun clarifying his initial comments and charity a open position on a president’s transport ban.

Of note, Plank wrote “We trust that immigration is a source of strength, farrago and creation for tellurian companies formed in America like Under Armour.”

Plank was one of 28 business leaders named to President Trump’s manufacturing jobs initiative, a member of his altogether jobs agenda.

It has been a severe month for Under Armour, that saw a batch tumble scarcely 25% in one day during a finish of January, after unsatisfactory income expansion in a fourth quarter.
