Asia bassist John Wetton was ripped off by bandmate: suit

Late Asia bassist John Wetton was ripped off by a bandmate late in his career, according to a lawsuit filed by his estate.

Wetton assimilated a rope named UKZ with rocker Eddie Jobson, according to a suit. UKZ never paid Wetton $45,500 for behaving in 11 live shows in a U.S., Europe and Japan in 2015, a Manhattan Supreme Court fit states.

“Jobson used his finish control over UKZ Inc. to unjustly obtain services from Wetton, when he had no goal of profitable Wetton, a fit claims.

Asia available a strike “Heat of a Moment.” Wetton died of colon cancer in 2017.

Jobson could not immediately be reached.
