One of ESPN’s many gifted NFL reporters is out, effective immediately.
Ed Werder, who has a clever repute for covering football and quite a Cowboys, has been let go, he pronounced on Twitter this morning.
“After 17 years stating on NFL, I’ve been sensitive that I’m being laid off by ESPN effective immediately. we have no skeleton to retire,” Werder wrote.
ESPN is approaching to lay off around 100 employees this week, as a network tries to revoke costs as it deals with disappearing revenues interjection to cord cutting. At slightest one other NFL reporter, longtime Titans kick author Paul Kuharsky, has also been let go, and it’s expected that several important names in a NFL media universe will be but jobs soon.
