Malaysia summons Chinese envoy over secular peace comments

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is summoning Chinese envoy Huang Hui Kang to Wisma Putra on Monday (Sep 28) to find construction from him about what he pronounced during his revisit to Petaling Street on Friday.

Ambassador Huang, who visited Chinatown to symbol a jubilee of a Mid-Autumn Festival, gave a news discussion highlighting a significance of secular peace in a country. He also overwhelmed on a order of law in Malaysia and pronounced no one should be above a law.

China, he said, is opposite any form of extremism, injustice or terrorism and will not lay idly or endure them.

Huang’s comments, entrance during supportive times, have lifted eyebrows and drew critique from a statute party’s girl wing that has indicted China of interfering with domestic affairs.
