After his quarrel with Conor McGregor on Saturday night, Nate Diaz has shifted his concentration towards another competitor. The former lightweight pretension challenger had his sights on McGregor’s grappling training partner, Dillon Danis.
“That jiu-jitsu manager he’s got, I’m gonna get that motherf—-r, man. That male is on my strike list,” Diaz pronounced on Saturday night during his possess post-fight media scrum. “This is America and he’s over there representing with them? And afterwards he wants to try to close adult during a press discussion like he’s hard? That’s a reason that dope got rushed during a press conference, too.”
Danis released his response to Diaz’ remarks in his new coming on The MMA Hour. According to a 23-year-old Marcelo Garcia black belt, he is peaceful to step inside a MMA enclosure and face Diaz, if need be.
“I don’t know what that means, I’m on his strike list. But if he wants to do MMA, I’ll quarrel him in MMA if he wants,” Danis pronounced (transcription via MMA Fightiing). “He can do a CM Punk with me and move me into a UFC. He can be my initial fight. I’ll quarrel him in a integrate months, whatever he wants to do.”
For their part, McGregor and Diaz had already exchanged pleasantries as shortly as a quarrel ended. But for Danis, being called out like so is some-more personal than only business.
“I had a lot of honour for Nate Diaz. we went to shake his palm after a fight, he wouldn’t shake my hand. He was observant things.”
“This is a quarrel game. After a fight, emotions are high. But c’mon man. we did zero to him. we don’t understand. But now he wants to make it personal. If he wants to fight, that’s fine. we don’t know where that came from.”
“Any kind of quarrel he wants to do, I’m prepared to step in there with him,” Danis said. “Whatever he wants. No problem. MMA? It doesn’t matter to me. I’ll quarrel him in MMA tomorrow.”
